I enjoy your writing and I applaud your discipline. I have the same struggle at times. I want to do more writing and have even thought about starting a Substack, but it's much easier to respond to your and others' posts as a prompt. :) But I do think that writing is good. It helps organize thoughts and structure them in my head. There is a lot of good in being disciplined to write regularly. The problem is when I want to write I over react and overwhelm myself. I wonder if it'll be too wordy, or too confusing, or if I leave something out or if I put too much in or if I'll sound scattered in my thinking.... What doesn't worry me is whether people will disagree. I love learning new things and different perspectives. But the mental "blocks" listed above keep me from doing it. I suppose it's one of those things where the more I write, the less these blocks will influence me. Maybe I'll get around to starting a substack or something. But your readings have been inspiring and thought provoking, so thank you for taking the time to do this!

I think you’ve hit it on the head. There are plenty of reasons not to, and it’s so easy to get stuck on the blocks. Glad for your comments though!
